Hi, I am Chris Batliner, Principle at Anchor Insurance Agencies. I’ve been in the insurance industry since 2009. My previous jobs include restaurant owner, construction, landscaping, package delivery, recycling services, and my first job in fast food. I served in the Army National Guard as a Helicopter crew chief, where I earned the rank of sergeant. My wide range of experience has helped me to understand what drives a person and connect with people from a multitude of backgrounds. I take great pride in my agency and want my clients to as well. I am a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and the Omaha Chamber. I am from Lincoln, NE, where I attended Pius X High School and later UNL. I moved to Omaha in 2002 where I still reside. I am married to Erin Batliner and have 3 children: Logan, Kamden, and Bristol. I am very active in my children’s lives with sports, volunteering at school, and family outings. My hobbies include working out as well as playing basketball, golf, tennis, skiing, mountain biking, dirt biking, and watching movies. We make sure that we plan several trips a year to get out of town both here in the states and out of the country.

Hi, I am Eric Hancock. I have worked as an insurance agent since 2000 and a Principle of Anchor Insurance since 2010. I have over 14 years of financial service experience in which I have been an agent, a sales manager, VP of business development at a bank, and most notably a teacher. In 2010, I decided it was time to stop working for other people and start working for myself. The vision I had was to create an agency were agents had the freedom to choose products based on the clients needs not because of one insurance carrier’s products. I know that may sound simple, but we see this offense all the time in our profession. At Anchor Insurance Agencies, we are completely independent. We will not be beholden to any insurance carrier. Our Promise is to get your company, family member, or lil’ brother into the most affordable quality products available. Helping people is what I love to do. I don’t have free time because I have 5 kids… When I’m not working I enjoy coaching and working outside. I’m a tinkerer by nature and love to get creative. I have been married to my lovely wife Traci for 18 adventurous years.

If I won the lottery… I would give 50% of it away in a charitable trust, and then I would see the world…. Starting with New Zealand.

I am a fan of College athletics…I hate pro sports… just can’t wrap my head around paying someone that crazy money when our teachers are just getting by.

Hello everyone, my name is Drew Conway and I am happy to be your agent here at Anchor Insurance. I come from a small town in Nebraska. My wife Sarah and I, two sons, and our family pets live in Wahoo. We enjoy catching a Lincoln Saltdogs or Omaha Storm Chasers baseball game anytime we get a chance. II graduated from Harvard High School and pursued higher education at Doane College. I have been servicing clients since 2005 in the Wahoo area and throughout central Nebraska. Some of my favorite things in life are spending time with my family and friends, and meeting new people. In my free time I enjoy attending various sporting events. I also take pleasure in tinkering with wood and mechanical projects around the house.

Hi, I am Kristy Korte an independent agent at Anchor Insurance Agencies. I’ve been in the insurance industry since 2014. My previous career was in administrative nursing. I attend Central Community College for 7 years. I hold licenses and certificates in practical nursing, dental assisting, nursing home administration, life & health insurance producer, and property & casualty insurance producer. I was born and raised in Brookings, SD and moved to Nebraska shortly after graduating high school. I’m an extremely busy mother of 5 children. I have 3 boys and twin girls. My passion used to be gymnastics and professional water skiing. Now you can find me spending time at my kids sporting events, movies, trampoline parks, fishing, outdoor activities, and anything that involves my children.

Hi there! I’m Ashley. I’ve been with The Anchor Team since August 2016. I am the office Manager in our Omaha office. I was born and raised in Omaha. I love working in the insurance business and helping our clients. I have a silly, spunky, 2nd grade daughter, Zoey. Together, we love going to the zoo, fishing, the park, bowling, camping, swimming, and playing outside, but she doesn’t like shopping. I’ve been coaching her softball team for the last 4 years. If we’re not at the softball fields, we’re at the sand courts, playing volleyball. I also really enjoy watching Zoey play basketball, something I was never good at. (She got the basketball skills from my sister.) Something about me is that I am always listening to music. When I get to the office in the mornings, the first thing I do is put music on. Get in the car, music. Cooking dinner, music. Feel free to stop by the Omaha office and say hello! I love meeting new people and having conversation.

I am happily married to the love of my life. We have our 1 and only miracle Princess who will be 16 this year. My journey with insurance began 3 years ago. Due to having 3 back surgeries I needed to find something that wasn’t going to do damage to my body. Jumping into this business took a real leap of faith and I am so thankful I did it! I love working with people and this career gives me an opportunity to help in an important way. My clients’ needs are at the forefront of my mind at all times and making sure that they understand everything they have asked is the most important aspect to me. Ryan is an expert in the insurance industry with over 12 years of experience His key areas of focus are around Senior Solutions.  He specializes in Medicare/Medicaid and Health Plans.  Working with clients to identify areas of need and look out for their best interests is his passion and the reason he’s in this industry.

Ryan is a member of Knights of Columbus, Fort Calhoun Booster Club and is involved in Together Omaha Food Pantry and the Healing Gift Free Clinic, Inc.

Ryan was born and raised in Fort Calhoun, NE.  He still resides in the small community, just outside of Omaha with his wife Annie, 3 boys – Grant, Sam and Max, and 2 dogs – Harley and Lenny. He graduated with a criminal justice degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Ryan enjoys coaching his sons sports in his spare time.  He also loves spending time with family,  riding motorcycles, tinkering in his barn, golfing and watching all sports.  Ryan’s strengths are his relationships with clients. He enjoys cultivating long lasting relationships, and considers many of his customers good friends.
